Kubota Announces Updated M7 Series Tractors With New Front Loader
Kubota Tractor Corporation recently introduced the fourth generation of its M7 Series tractors at the 2023 Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois. The three models in the M7-4 Series (the M7-134, M7-154, and M7-174) each come with a new LM2606 Front Loader and Deluxe, Premium, or Premium KVT option packages.
Comfortable & Productive
The M7-4 Series has the same horsepower range as the previous generation, 128 to 168 (95 to 125 kilowatts), with improved fuel and diesel exhaust fluid tanks that allow the cabin steps to be integrated with the tanks. The cabin’s automatic HVAC system, standard on Premium and KVT models and optional on Deluxe, maintains a comfortable temperature in the workspace during all seasons. Operators also have a choice of mechanical or air suspension cab and all cabs come with an air-ride equipped seat as standard as well as an instructor seat.
The M7-4 Series is loaded with features for comfortable operation to boost productivity, including the Multi-Speed Steering Control with three settings to enable the operator to set the rotations of the steering wheel required for the full turning radius. LED lights and electric heated side mirrors are standard on the Premium and KVT models and are optional on the Deluxe. The Xpress Restart feature, which lets operators control the main clutch by pressing the brake pedal, is standard on Deluxe and Premium models.
The New LM2606 Front Loader
The M7-4 Series comes with the new LM2606 Front Loader designed for increased power and efficiency. The LM2606 has a lifting height of up to 167 inches (424 centimeters) and a lift capacity of 5,776 pounds (2,620 kilograms) at the bucket pivot pin. Deluxe models have the new Mechanical Multi-Function Joystick to simplify controls with ergonomic shift buttons.
“We’re thrilled to welcome the new generation of M7s to the Kubota ag tractor family,” says Kubota Livestock Tractor Product Manager, Morgan Ludwig. “This new generation matches the performance that customers know to be true of Kubota and the existing M7, but uplevels the operator experience with adjustments to comfort and new features for productivity that fit a broad spectrum of ag applications, including hay operations, loader work, and small- to mid-sized row crop farming.”
