Bobcat's newest compact wheel loader is also its largest, with 74 horsepower (55 kilowatts) and an 11,993-pound (5,440-kilogram) operating weight. The new L95’s commensurately greater bucket capacity combines with a relatively tall lift height and fast travel speeds to fill the material-handling needs of landscaping, nurseries, construction, agriculture, and other applications, including rental work.

“The L95 offers the largest bucket capacity, the most horsepower, and the most powerful transmission within the Bobcat lineup of compact wheel loaders,” says Bobcat Marketing Manager Drew Kolo. “The L95 will join the L65 and L85 to offer customers a range of compact wheel loader sizes that are powerful, tough, and highly productive.”

Bobcat plans to show the new wheel loader at the Equip Exposition being held October 17 to 20 in Louisville, Kentucky. The L95 will become available to customers in North America later in the year.

    How The Bobcat L95 Performs

The new Bobcat L95 has a 3,981-lb (1,806-kg) rated operating capacity, a 1.2-cubic-yard (0.9-cubic meter) bucket capacity, and a 10.5-foot (3.2-meter) lift height. Its oscillating frame allows for a tight turning radius, the manufacturer says.

Because the L95’s engine generates just under 75 HP (56 kW), it can meet Tier 4 emissions requirements without the use of a diesel particulate filter (DPF) or selective catalyst reduction (SCR). Bobcat says the loader’s electronic hydrostatic transmission makes it easy to change direction and provides brisk acceleration to a top travel speed of 24 mph (39 km/h). A horsepower management feature regulates the L95’s drive system for optimal pushing and loading power.

    Bobcat L95 Attachments

The Bobcat L95 has a high-flow auxiliary hydraulics circuit that flows at up to 27 gallons (102 liters) per minute. Its advanced attachment control mode and Power Bob-Tach mounting system make it simple to configure the wheel loader for its next task. The L95 accepts a variety of attachments including buckets, forks, angle brooms, grapples, snow pushers, snow blowers, and augers.

Cab Amenities In The Bobcat L95

The pressurized cabin on the Bobcat L95 loader incorporates several operator comfort features into its ample interior space. It keeps out a great deal of jobsite noise, and it has a heated seat as well as an efficient heating and air conditioning system. An automatic ride control system and air suspension under the seat help to stave off user fatigue and discomfort.

The seat also has the loader’s joystick control mounted on it along with an adjustable armrest. A 5-inch (127-millimeter) display allows the driver to run the wheel loader and monitor all facets of its operation. The screen also shows the feed from an optional rearview video camera.
