The versatility of compact wheel loaders has made them one of the fastest-growing equipment classes in agriculture. These multitaskers can stack, load, transport pallets, clean livestock barns, remove snow, and more. The new John Deere 326 P-Tier telescopic compact wheel loader can do all that and more and offers over 16 feet (4.8 meters) of reach.

"Ranchers and dairy producers will love the 326 P-Tier for its reach, its flexibility, and its lift capacity," says John Deere Go-To-Market Manager Luke Gribble. "Operators will enjoy it for the cab visibility, the boom controls, and the exclusive Articulation Plus steering system. Put it all together, and the 326 P-Tier is a real 'multitool' for the farm or ranch."

    Deere 326 P-Tier Capabilities

The wheel loader has a telescopic lift arm long enough to stack bales and yet the machine is compact enough to maneuver in barns and other small spaces. The 326 P-Tier has a top speed of 23 mph (37 km/h) to move between jobs and the Articulation Plus steering system for 30 degrees of articulation plus 10 more degrees of rear-wheel steering to make tight turns in compact spaces. Operators control the telescoping arm using a mini joystick on the main control lever.

The wheel loader is equipped with John Deere’s Load Torque Indicator System, which provides visual and audible alarms if the arm is overloaded. When the machine reaches its stability limit, only movement that reduces the load is possible. There is a separate indicator to warn of tilt cylinder overload.

"Features like these help make the 326 P-Tier one of the most confidence-inspiring and operator-friendly wheel loaders available," Gribble says. "And it is perfect for helping less-experienced operators become better, faster."

    Operator Comfort

Deere 326 P-Tier operators have a comfortable cab with a 9-inch touchscreen display with Auto Return-to-Dig and Auto Lift and Lower functions. Optional boom-mounted lights and a standard overhead window provide a clear view of the telescoping arm while placing bales, pallets, or bucketloads.
