Agco brand Massey Ferguson recently launched the MF 3 Series Specialty tractors designed for orchard and vineyard work in the North American market at the World Ag Expo in Tulare, California. The MF 3 Series has seven models with power ratings ranging from 75 to 115 horsepower (56 to 86 kilowatts) in a compact size.

The Specialty version of the MF 3 Series includes 75-HP, 95-HP (71-kW), and 115-HP cab models for vineyards and orchards. The narrow, low-profile Ground Effect version, designed for tunnel and fruit orchard work, comes in 75-, 95-, and 105-HP (78-kW) models. The narrowest model, the 95-HP Vineyard version, is designed for traditional vineyard operations.

“The farmer is at the heart of every Massey Ferguson design, and we are excited to share this brand-new offering with vineyard and orchard operations here in California, as well as across North America,” says Kevin Lewallen, tactical marketing manager for Massey Ferguson North America. “We understand the importance of productivity and economy in these applications, and we’re proud to offer one of the most powerful, versatile, and comfortable machines on the market.”

About The Massey Ferguson 3 Series Vineyard

The Vineyard version’s cab is just over 3 feet (914 millimeters) wide, equipping it to navigate narrow vineyard rows. High power and torque at low engine RPM provide maximum efficiency with low noise levels. Operators have multiple transmission options to customize their tractors. The MF 3VI.95 has low-profile automatic transmission fluid components for enhanced visibility, a Cat.4-compliant roof, and ergonomic cab features for increased productivity and comfort.

    About The Specialty Option

The MF 3 Specialty tractor is a little wider than the Vineyard with a cab that’s 4 ft (1,219 mm) wide. The 75-HP model has a 3.4-liter, 4-cylinder engine. The higher-horsepower models have a 3.6-liter engine. The 26-gallon (98-liter) fuel tank allows farmers to accomplish more between fueling stops.

The MF 3 Ground Effect Tractor

The Ground Effect line includes all MF 3 Series open-station platform models. The narrow, low-profile design is perfect for older wine grape and raisin vineyards. Farmers can mix and match horsepower and other specs to create a tractor that provides the power, comfort, and versatility needed for their operations.
