The 2025 Honda Pioneer 520 UTV is designed to do it all. It is compact enough to haul in the back of a full-size pickup and, at 50 inches (1,270 millimeters) wide, can navigate ATV trails while providing enough space to seat two comfortably. The 520 also pulls its weight with a towing capacity of 1,000 pounds (454 kilograms) and a dump bed capacity of 450 lbs (204 kg).

The all-in-one side-by-side has a fuel-injected 4-stroke 518-cc engine, independent front and rear suspension, and the ability to switch between 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive. The 5-speed automatic transmission with reverse has a manual mode operated by paddle shifters on the steering column, allowing the driver to control shifting as needed. The 520’s strut-assist tilt/dump bed has interior height, width, and length dimensions of 9.8 by 38.7 by 25.9 inches (249 by 983 by 658 millimeters).

    Ready For Everything

The UTV is prepped for any adventure or job, with recess rings for 5-gallon bucks, ridges to better position crates, slots for a wood divider, five D-rings for tie-downs, and cup holder rings in the gate. The Pioneer 520 is also compatible with Honda Pro-Connect accessories. A series of 10 latches around the dump bed perimeter let operators connect cargo boxes, bed rails, chainsaw mounts, and more without using tools.

For the 2025 model year, the Pioneer 520 has new color options: Hero Red, Slate Gray, and TrueTimber Atera Camo. Honda says the UTV will be available starting in July.
