John Deere 3756G Forestry Swing Machine Recognized For Good Design Award
The Good Design Award committee selected John Deere’s 3756G Forestry Swing Machine, in part, due to its rugged and efficient design. It’s hard to argue with the panel’s choice, as the 3756G features a peak power of 271 horsepower at 1,900 rpm and a maximum SwingTorque of 87,507 pounds-foot (118,644 newton-meters). Deere also indicates the Good Design Award panel noted the swing machine’s productivity and durability features.
Innovation Inside The Cab
Deere designs the 3756G with a high-rise cab and floor-mounted windows. The improved view, according to Deere, helps the operator when maneuvering over difficult ground conditions. For safe entry and exit, the 3756G features a rear-entry cab. Operators should also appreciate the climate-controlled interior and anti-vibration mounts to reduce driver fatigue. For smooth operation, the 3756G Swing Machine boasts ergonomic short-throw pilot levers and fingertip controls.
Productivity
The 3756G features three productivity modes to maximize power and fuel economy based on load. Deere also adds five high-intensity halogen lights to let you work in the dark. For even more illumination, you can optionally configure the 3756G with a 13-light LED package, plus service and access lights. The 3756G also supports Deere’s JDLink, so you can be alerted immediately to machine issues and machine diagnostics.
