SANY Excavators A Hit On The Philippines Market
SANY, a top Chinese construction equipment manufacturer, recently introduced the Philippines market to one of the firm’s most powerful medium-sized excavators, the SY215C. Now equipped with a Tier 3 emissions-compliant six-cylinder engine, the excavator remains powerful while reducing its output of environmentally hazardous emissions.
The Right Tool For Expansion
The updated 24.1-ton (21.9-metric ton) excavator’s new engine is capable or burning 7% less fuel and operating at 8% greater efficiency when in S8 gear and 2% better in S10 gear compared to SANY’s Tier 2-based excavator. The SY216C’s Mitsubishi engine is capable of producing 114/2,050 kilowatts/rpm via its six cylinders, with the aid of a four-stroke direct-injection turbocharger.
The SY216C also features an innovative controller that offers the operator a higher degree of accuracy and reduces the response time of the machine’s hydraulic elements. For instance, the machine’s digging force has increased by up to 9.5% thanks to its high-pressure hydraulic components and quality circuits.
The machine is also built to last. The SANY SY215C’s design includes reinforced X-force structural components, and its main beam has been plate-welded to resist bending and shear forces. The tracks of the excavator incorporate bearings with sealed in lubrication, ensuring they remain operational for the duration of the machine’s service life. SANY’s tri-grouser track shoes are composed of a high-strength alloy to deliver excellent grip and stability for the machine on a variety of surface types.
The operator’s cab features a number of safety and comfort features, including a punch-formed top plate with thick reinforced ribs, rearview mirrors mounted on both sides of the cab for superior visibility, ergonomically positioned levers and joysticks, an adjustable seat with suspension, a low-noise cab, and a quieter engine.
A Good First Impression
According to Soriano Garcia, a Philippine municipal contractor, the SANY SY215C Tire 3 excavators enabled him to complete a municipal ditch project a month ahead of schedule. Garcia expects to be using many more SANY machines in the future.
