Doosan Will Display DX85R-3 and DX140LC-5 Excavators At The 2019 ARA Show
Doosan Infracore North America recently announced that it will bring its DX85R-3 and DX140LC-5 crawler excavators to the American Rental Association Show, which is set to run February 17 to 20 in Anaheim, California. Both excavators are equipped with hydraulic quick couplers, which don’t require grease and allows operators to change excavator attachments without leaving their seats. The DX85R-3 on display will have standard rubber tracks, and the DX140LC-5 will have optional steel tracks with rubber pads.
Doosan DX85R-3
The 59-horsepower (44-kilowatt) Doosan DX85R-3 has an operating weight of 18,960 pounds (8,600 kilograms), bucket digging force of 14,509 pounds-foot (19,671.6 newton-meters), and arm digging force of 8,069 pounds foot (10,940 newton-meters). It also has a maximum digging reach of 23.92 feet (7.3 meters), maximum digging depth of 15.5 feet (4.7 meters), and maximum loading height of 16.3 feet (5 meters). Other features include an ergonomically designed joystick with two-way auxiliary hydraulic control and fingertip, boom swing control; a color display that shows coolant temperature, fuel level, and other valuable information; and password protection for theft prevention.
Doosan DX140LC-5
The Doosan DX140LC-5 is a 105-horsepower (78.3-kilowatt) excavator with an operating weight of 32,783 pounds (14,870 kilograms), bucket digging force of 24,471 pounds-foot (33,178 newton-meters), and arm digging force of 13,288 pounds foot (18,016 newton-meters). It also has a maximum digging reach 27.92 feet (8.5 meters), maximum digging depth of 20 feet (6.1 meters), and maximum loading height of 21 feet (6.4 meters).
The DX140LC-5 has four power modes (Standard, Economy, Power, and Power+) and four work modes (Dig, Lift, Breaker, and Sheer) to fit a wide range of applications. It also features a 7-inch LCD display that provides operators with vital information about the machine, as well as rearview and side-view camera feeds. And to help cut down on fuel costs, you can adjust the idle time of the machine from between three minutes to 60 minutes for automatic engine shutdown.
