JCB To Display New TM420 At Two Major Ag Shows In February
JCB recently announced that it will have its new TM420 articulated telescopic handler on display at the World Ag Expo in Tulare, California, on February 12 through the 14th and at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky, on February 13 through the 16th. JCB will also give attendees who come by its booth at either event an opportunity to enter JCB’s “Put a TM420 to Work” sweepstakes to win the use of the telescopic forklift for two months or 250 hours, whichever comes first.
“Since the TM420 was introduced in 2018, farmers have come to depend on it for the versatility and maneuverability they expect from a telehandler and the muscle they demand from a wheel loader,” says Ray Bingley, general manager for agriculture at JCB North America. “It’s perfect for all types of agricultural material handling applications, especially where extra lift or reach is needed, such as loading feeders and storage bins or cleaning out stock yards.”
Key Features
JCB’s TM420 features a Tier 4 Final 4.8-liter EcoMAX engine that produces 145 horsepower (108 kilowatts) and 413 pounds-foot (560 newton-meters) of torque. It has a maximum lift capacity of 8,500 pounds (3,856 kilograms), maximum lift height of 17.67 feet (5.4 meters), and forward reach of 10 feet (3 meters). Other features include four-wheel drive and quick attachment changes, as well as self-lubricated wear pads, dry boom lubrication, and 500-hour greasing intervals for simplified ongoing maintenance.
More To Show
JCB will have many other machines on display at both farm shows, as well. Examples include Fastrac tractors, Loadall telehandlers, a 437 wheel loader, a 215 skid steer, and a Teleskid compact track loader.
