Earlier this month, Genie highlighted the numerous awards that its articulating and telescopic boom lifts have won in recent months from various industry trade magazines for innovation, market impact, and reader popularity. Winners include the Z-45 FE (51.8 feet; 15.8 meters) and Z-60 FE (65.7 ft; 20 m) articulating booms and S-40 XC (46 ft; 14 m) and S-45 XC (51 ft; 15.5 m) telescopic models. Genie XC (Xtra Capacity) lifts are designed for higher working heights, with 660- and 1,000-pound (300- and 454-kilogram) unrestricted and restricted capacities that allow them to lift three people, tools, and materials.

    Meet The Winners

According to Genie, the S-40 XC and S-45 XC made Equipment Today’s list of Contractors Top 50 New Products, while the Z-60 FE won a Roads & Bridges 2020 Contractor’s Choice Awards Gold honor in the Aerial Work Platforms Category. The Z-45 FE, meanwhile, received Rental magazine’s 2020 Editor’s Choice Award in the Lift Category, and also made Construction Equipment’s Top 100 New Products of 2020.

    Advanced & Green Tech

Genie XC-series booms run on dual fuel or diesel engines, and feature load-sensing technology that continuously monitors the platform’s weight, adjusting accordingly based on the load chart. The Z-45 FE and Z-60 FE provide hybrid or all-electric operating modes, making them suitable for indoor or outdoor applications. Along with XC and FE lineups, Genie offers new J-series models that debuted early this year as a cost-effective option for tackling everyday jobs.
