JLG Hits The Farm Show Circuit To Introduce Farmers To Its New AG925 Telehandler

    Posted On: September 16, 2021

“The introduction of the AG925 is the first in a planned range of models to meet the needs of the agricultural community,” says Frank Nerenhausen, Oshkosh Corporation executive vice president and president of JLG Industries. (Photo courtesy of JLG.)

JLG is announcing its new AG925 telehandler at ag industry events across the country, including Ag Progress Days in Furnace, Pennsylvania, Farm Progress in Decatur, Illinois, and Husker Harvest Days, running through today in Grand Island, Nebraska, to mark the company’s entry into the North American ag market.

“JLG has a long history as the North American market leader in the construction telehandler category,” says Frank Nerenhausen, Oshkosh Corporation executive vice president and president of JLG Industries. “This experience gave us a solid foundation from which to build when it came to the design engineering and technical expertise needed to manufacture purpose-built models for the agricultural industry.”

    The First Of Many

JLG gave its new telehandler an 8,800-pound (4,000-kilogram) lift capacity and a lift height of 24.9 feet (7.6 meters) to help farmers and ranchers be productive in and around barns and along livestock rows.

“The AG925 marks the start of a line of agricultural telehandlers that will withstand the rigors of year-round farm work,” says Rogerio Dos Santos, vice president of engineering for telehandlers at JLG. The AG925 is also equipped with an LSI (Load Stability Indicator) system to limit operation when loads near capacity. The 25 mph (40 km/h) travel speed allows the telehandler to quickly move from task to task on the farm.

The Right Tools For The Job

JLG has developed a wide range of attachments for the ag-focused AG925. From bale handlers and buckets to forks and personnel work platforms, the attachments provide the versatility needed to take on tasks around farms and ranches. JLG says that operators can also equip a quick coupler to use third-party and skid-steer attachments, making it easy to find the tools you need to move feed, bedding, and hay for livestock operations
