The New Holland compact wheel loader (CWL) lineup is growing, with three new C series models introduced for 2024. The W60C, W70C, and W80C LR (Long Reach) are designed to increase productivity, efficiency, and operator comfort.

“The development of these advanced CWL models was driven by our goal to enhance the operator and owner experience and the need to put more options with more versatility in their hands,” says Dan Kakareka, product manager for New Holland Construction North America. “What’s also evident with the three new models is how they provide exceptional stability, enabling operators to handle larger loads with ease, maneuver confidently in challenging conditions, and enjoy smoother travel, even on rough terrain.”

New Holland Compact Wheel Loader Specs

New Holland Construction says each wheel loader fills a different market need. The W60C has the same frame as the W50C but more horsepower and an upgraded Z-Bar boom design for landscaping, material handling, and snow removal.

The W70C has even more horsepower, speed, and performance with a lighter operating weight of 12,000 pounds (5,443 kilograms) and is designed for light construction, landscaping, contracting, and municipalities. The W80C LR has an operating weight of 13,000 lbs (5,897 kg) and a lift capacity of 10,600 lbs (4,808 kg) and is designed for the ag market to carry out tasks such as bale stacking and loading feed into ration mixers.

    New & Upgraded CWL Features

Each new model is powered by a Tier 4 Final-compliant 4-cylinder, 3.4-liter FPT Industrial F5H engine. The new wheel loaders have updated spacious ROPS- and FOPS-certified cabs with advanced climate control and are fully sealed and pressurized to keep out dust and noise.

New technology features such as automated boom control, creep mode, cruise control, auto ride control, and FleetForce Telematics improve efficiency and enable performance tracking for better fleet management.

The three new compact wheel loaders are all compatible with more than 250 attachments, including buckets, brooms, snow blowers, bale grabbers, skid steers, and more, to give the machines maximum versatility. High-flow attachments are available for the W70C and the W80C LR as well. The redesigned Z-Bar Monolift cylinder improves visibility to the attachment and boosts breakout force and digging and lifting power.
