Fiat Chrysler Record Canada RAM Sales
In a recent report, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Canada revealed that although total sales were down 6% (18,444 vehicles sold) month-over-month compared to September of last year, sales of Ram brand and Ram pickup trucks went up 15% and 14%, respectively, to set calendar-year-to-date sales records. The Ram brand sold a total of 8,136 vehicles in September of this year, which marked a 16% increase over September 2016, and Ram light-duty and heavy-duty pickups sales, specifically, reached 7,732 sales last month, which also marked a 16% over the same month last year.
Building on the success and growth of Ram brand and Ram pickups in Canada, FCA also took the time to highlight the Ram Laramie Longhorn Southfork edition, which is the most recent addition to the company’s portfolio. As far as style is concerned, this new Ram Lamarie has 100% full-grain leather seats, Walnut-colored ash wood accents, and a Walnut-trimmed steering wheel, just to name a few of the additions.
A few other highlights from the release are the sales figures of Ram ProMaster City and Van sales, which went up 22% year-over-year in the month of September, as well as those of FCA’s Jeep line of SUVs, which saw a 268% jump in sales year-over-year in September at 548 total units sold. The Jeep Compass, in particular, has since expanded even beyond North America to more than 100 countries around the world, which shows the company’s dedication to reaching a global audience with its vehicles.
