International Delivers First CV Series Truck
Team Fishel, a construction engineering and utilities company based in Columbus, Ohio, recently became the first customer to receive an International CV Series truck. Navistar Senior Vice President of U.S. Sales Dennis Huffmon gave the keys to the first CV Series model to John Phillips, president and CEO of Team Fishel at an event held at Custom Vehicle Solutions, a Rush Enterprises facility in Denton, Texas. The company will receive more CV Series vehicles in the future, all of which will join its growing fleet of more than 1,600 trucks.
Up To The Challenge
“We have customers across the United States who count on us to get the job done every single day, and it’s extremely important that our vehicles are up to that challenge,” said Phillips. “I have no doubt that the CV Series will rise to the occasion; bringing with it the power, safety and drivability that gives us the very best tool to provide for our customers.”
More On The CV Series
The International CV Series is designed to make the upfitting process as seamless as possible, which makes it versatile enough to be used as a utility truck, service vehicle, tow truck, landscaping truck, ambulance, and more. It comes in 4x2 and 4x4 axle configurations with a day cab or crew cab and offers wheelbases ranging from 141 to 243 inches. An International 6.6 V8 Turbocharged diesel engine powers the CV Series, producing up to 350 horsepower (261 kilowatts) and 700 pounds-foot (949 newton meters) of torque. You also have the choice among six-speed Allison 1700, 1750, or 2700 Series transmissions.
