suzu recently revealed three new Knapheide body options for its N-Series truck lineup, including KUVcc, dump, and landscaper models. The KUVcc body is available on Isuzu NPR and NPR-HD trucks with 109-inch (276.9-centimeter) wheelbases. The dump body is available on N-series standard cab trucks with 109-inch wheelbases and gross vehicle weight ratings (GVWRs) of 14,500 pounds (6,577 kilograms) and up. The landscaper body is available for standard cab models with 109-inch and 132.5-inch (336.6-centimeter) wheelbases as well as crew cab models with 150-inch (381-centimeter) and 176-inch (447-centimeter) wheelbases with GVWRs of 14,500 pounds or more.

    KUVcc

Knapheide’s KUVcc closed utility body is built with 20-gauge galvanized steel and features eight exterior compartments, two fixed interior shelves on either side, two interior dome lights, and a glass window in the front bulkhead that measures in at 9 x 30 inches (22.9 x 76.2 centimeters). Optional features include a keyless lock system, LED lighting in the compartment, a side-mounted ladder rack, and a drop-down single-ladder rack.

    Dump

The Knapheide dump body features 7-gauge steel sills along the floor that prevent debris buildup as well as a water-based paint undercoating for improved corrosion resistance. It also has a quarter cab protector built with 10-gauge high-tensile steel. Other features include a 12-volt pump that powers the electric hoist; a multi-action, quick-release tailgate; a Class 5 hitch with seven-way flat trailer plug; mud flaps; and more.

Knapheide’s Landscaper body (pictured here on a Ford truck) features curbside and rear swing-out doors as well as removable side panels for easier loading and unloading. (Photo courtesy of Isuzu.)

    Landscaper

The Landscaper body features a 50-inch (127-centimeter)-wide curbside opening with a side access door for unloading pallets and other abnormal loads as well as two 270-degree swing-out gates in the rear that are lockable in the open position. It features 40-inch (102-centimeter)-tall removal side panels built with 14-gauge steel with 13-gauge steel stakes. The landscaper body is equipped with the same electric hoist, undercoating, and mud flaps as the dump body. Optional features include a cab protector, landscaper tarp, and a package that adds a street-side compartment with two shelves, four hooks, and a pullout bin.
